OMG. This is why I have to explain to people 20 years after the fact that my masters is an all-but-thesis masters. Meaning, all I did was a bunch of research and come up with a really cool title (A Jungian Interpretation of Spontaneously Produced Religious Imagery in the Art of Psychotic Patients). I have my toes crossed for you.
I've soooooooo been there! I did my Masters degree part-time, my advisor only worked part-time due to illness and then unexpectedly retired altogether while I took a little break to adjust to life with a new baby. AAAArgh! Hang in there...

Yes, my advisor is getting ready to hop across the pond to another continent for a year, and I am working full-time, but good grief there have not been illnesses, retirements or babies involved! Kudos to you, LoriD!
