It was nice to see family last week. I am quite sure that the reality of Noni's passing has not hit me yet.

I get to meet my best friend's baby daughter for the first time tonight.

Things even out in the best way, don't you think?

I drank my coffee black this morning as I forgot to buy half-and-half at the store last night. I am not minding this.
Are you a coffee drinker? How do you take yours?

I'm so sorry about your Noni. Thinking of you and A.
ReplyDeleteI do think things even out. Life's funny that way.
I don't drink coffee, even though I'll try every once in awhile, thinking I'm just stupid enough not to know how to get the perfect blend of coffee and creamer/milk/sugar/whatever, but every time, it tastes terrible.
Jason started drinking coffee last fall. He usually drinks it black, but sometimes has some creamer in it.
Things do even out, you're right. Although I know from experience if someone TELLS me that things even out, esp. when I am on the "below" part of the evening-out, it just pisses me off. Temporarily. Until things even out.
ReplyDeleteBlack all the way, baby. I did recently start preferring my tea with milk, however.
Sometimes I like flavored creamer, sometimes I take it black, sometimes I take it with milk and a little sugar.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your Noni, but it's also wonderful to see life balance itself out by bringing a new life into this world.
ReplyDeleteI prefer my drip coffee strong and black, but sometimes I'll put in a little half and half. And I do like a good latte. No sugar or flavor, though.
ew ew ew ew no cream!??! i put 1/2 a packet of instant hot chocolate in mine... or else a TON of milk. and also sugar :)
ReplyDelete(perhaps i should not be drinking coffee.)
